Creative Contracting was engaged to rebuild this lower level entertainment area after the Homeowners experienced a significant water loss. Everyone involved looked at this as an opportunity to reconfigure the space, improve the functionality, and upgrade the finishes.

Project Summary: Chic & Modern Family Lounge
This was one of the first projects our new team had the opportunity to collaborate on, after we merged companies with Bauscher Construction. Not only was the new team excited and invigorated at the possibilities that the blank slate offered us, but the homeowners gave us complete trust to bring our joint vision to life. They fully trusted our process and the professionals we have surrounded ourselves with. They were open to working with a mixed media of materials, unique patterns and classic colors, and allowed us to fully embrace the “Let’s Get Creative!” motto.
The basement was transformed into a modern yet cozy, upscale-lounge-type vibe while appealing to the sports fanatic, movie buff, and wine & spirits enthusiast.
This project was truly the definition of a “proof of concept” for our companies’ merger.

The Challenge
We used Creative Contracting, Inc. to completely remodel our basement after an unfortunate flood last year. From the first phone call until the end-of-project celebration, our project was effortless on our part with unbeatable quality! They were flexible with our busy schedule, on time, on budget, and completely transparent with all of the ins and outs of our construction work! The scope of our project was broad, with installation of a bar, kitchen, theater room, new floors, a built-in wine rack, cabinetry, and really incredible accent decor elements throughout. They were receptive to feedback and flexible with add-ons and change-orders to our original plans. We worked with Debi who took our original concepts and made them into incredible designs. Lauren brought the designs to life with excellent advice throughout the selections process. Joe was the rock who put it all together, coordinating many different specialty sub-contractors and navigating us through each step of the construction process. Where other contracting companies might nickel-and-dime you or discover insurmountable/expensive obstacles along the way, the entire Creative Contracting, Inc. team kept us on budget and on time, with a solutions-focused approach to our entire basement remodel. We LOVE our new basement and plan to hire them again for future projects!
