1 IN-HOME CONSULTATION

From the first point of contact, the Creative Contracting Team is devoted to understanding your vision and turning it into reality. This starts with an initial, complimentary consultation where we listen to your needs, collectively define the scope, set preliminary budget expectations, and discuss practical solutions

2 FEASIBILITY STUDY & DESIGN PHASE

After finalizing the scope and design expectations, a Design Agreement is initiated and a Feasibility Study is conducted with our architects and/or design professionals to assess your existing space and begin illustrating your vision.

3 TRADE MEETING

To further refine your vision, Creative Contracting assembles the appropriate team of trusted trade partners. All parties meet at the project site to view the existing conditions. This communication and interaction between Homeowner, Creative Contracting, and the Trade Partners is a valuable part of the process. We feel this is the best approach to clarify the project scope, develop indepth and accurate estimates for contract pricing, and ensure we’re meeting our homeowners needs with the most efficient and effective solutions

4 CONTRACT PRESENTATION/ACCEPTANCE

After our trade meeting, Creative Contracting will follow up to review the detailed cost analysis including itemized scope and pricing. Once the Construction Contract is accepted by all parties, a deposit is processed and the administrative setup begins

5 ADMINISTRATIVE SET-UP

Administrative set-up of each new project begins immediately after the 3-day rescission period ends. This “behind the scenes” phase of our process is crucial in the transition from Design to Production and promotes the overall success of every project. All information gathered during the Design Phase is reviewed, updated, and formatted to ensure a seamless hand-off to our Production Team. Project details are entered into our accounting system and project management software. Feasibility drawings are edited and prepared for permit submittal. The permit process is initiated. All Trade Partners and Vendors are advised of the upcoming project and their proposals are updated to reflect approved contract scope and pricing. Our administrative process requires considerable effort by every Creative Contracting team member to make certain that your project is “set-up” for success.

6 FINAL SELECTIONS & SCOPE REVISIONS

After the contract is accepted, our homeowners work directly with our inhouse Selections Coordinator to finalize finishes and materials specific to your projects scope. From helping to prioritize selections, to facilitating selection meetings, and coordinating with the Construction Manager to confirm material lead times and availability. Our Selections Coordinator is engaged throughout each phase and aims to make this process easy, efficient, and fun!

7 PROJECT TIMELINE & TARGET SCHEDULE

Once permits are obtained and major selections are finalized, a target timeline and schedule will be developed. This information will be input into our project management software and will include a weekly snapshot of what to expect, an anticipated completion date, and important project milestones. Our homeowners will have direct access to this information throughout their project. This software program will help guide them through the construction process and draw payment progression by way of these important project milestones established within the Construction Contract.

8 PRECONSTRUCTION MEETING

Creative Contracting cares about you and strives to minimize disruption throughout the renovation process. Our Construction Manager will meet with our homeowners before work begins for a PreConstruction Meeting. In this discussion, the project, accounting, and target timelines will be reviewed in addition to a short checklist of logistics, including but not limited to: start times for work to be conducted, family/daily routines, holiday/vacation schedules, use of facilities and parking, materials storage, additional daily needs/items

9 PROJECT INITIATION & PRODUCTION

Onsite work begins when Creative Contracting and all necessary Trade Partners are on the job. Throughout the process, the Construction Manager will provide you with progress reports and our Selections Coordinator will continue to develop outstanding selections. Periodic appointments with the Construction Manager will be held to review completed milestones, discuss any scope modifications, and coordinate required project needs.

10 FINAL COMPLETION & PUNCH OUT

During the final phase of construction, our Construction Manager, Field Supervisor, and Selections Coordinator will work together to identify, discuss, and coordinate completion requirements. Following this review, a revised schedule will be developed to address outstanding items. 58Our team will also turn over all manufacturer warranties and review our construction warranty. Once Creative Contracting has completed the project to mutual satisfaction, a Certificate of Satisfaction will be presented, and final payment will be collected

11 CREATIVE REFLECTION MEETING

As an exciting final step, a Reflection Meeting will be scheduled to walk through your newly renovated space with the Creative Contracting Team to see how our collaborative efforts and collective vision were brought to life and discuss the overall remodeling experience.

Creative Contracting did an amazing job with our kitchen and laundry room remodel. The project has completely transformed our home. They guided us through every step from design and selection coordination through the construction and finishing touches. The final product is beautiful and working with Creative Contracting made the process enjoyable.
