There were a few design challenges since the Homeowners wanted to incorporate 4 distinct areas into limited space. We had to come up with a creative way to solve the problem and find the additional room they needed.
To solve the dilemma, we looked at their existing laundry room and garage. As it turned out, there was unused space in the rear corner of the garage that they were willing to repurpose. We used the existing laundry along with a mere 100 sq feet of garage space and created a new, convenient, and functional space for the family and their guests to use.
The space now consists of a full bathroom with a shower for the pool guests, or the dog. The bathroom is easily accessible from pool area without going through the main house. Adjacent to the bathroom is the relocated laundry room as well as a beverage center with sink, ice-maker, wine storage area. It’s a functional and attractive space complete with cubbies for the family to store their jackets, backpacks, phones, and lunch boxes.
This is truly a functional, convenient, and beautiful space that all will enjoy!
