Project Summary: Game Day Get-a-Way

Creative Contracting was hired to design and build an exterior entertaining area that would provide comfort and privacy. Our clients are extremely loyal sports fans who have relocated to Mason, OH and enjoy being outdoors. Their goal was to create a space where they could relax and enjoy a game.

As we worked together to determine the best design solutions, the decision was made to extend the existing platform deck by approximately 2’ to the end of the existing house. This small extension allowed the roof and gutters to align with the existing structure and provide a seamless appearance.

To create privacy, a decorative screen wall was incorporated into the final design. This detail provided the needed protection and served as our backdrop for a Veneer Stacked Stone (Mineral County), beautiful cut timber mantel, and large outdoor TV. Project selections also included: Redwood/cedar trim, 1”x3” select pine tongue & groove ceilings, LOTUS LED lighting, decorative metal railings, and an oversized ceiling fan with down rod.
