Project Summary: Classic Kitchen with a Country Flair
Our designer suggested a kitchen layout that removed an angled peninsula which had enclosed the kitchen. This allowed us to create a more open flow and presented the opportunity for a larger island with seating for guests that the homeowners fell in love with.
Our selections coordinator worked diligently with the homeowners to understand their style and ensure that the new look of the kitchen would coordinate with the rest of the home. Creamy white cabinets were chosen for a clean, classic look that helped to brighten the space. Lighted Glass-Front uppers were selected with seedy glass to give a touch of elegance. The immense amount of closed-door storage is something every homeowner will envy. And the bookshelves with a bead-board backing at the end of their richly stained island is perfect for the collection of cookbooks. A Kohler, Cast Iron Apron Front sink was a must have for this “farm house” chic kitchen. A carefully selected custom floor stain was placed on the existing wood floors, to bring additional warmth to the space. Lastly, A polished marble mosaic backsplash was chosen to accent the granite countertops, a perfect compliment.
